Bryan Kneale’s Triton III was part of the Royal Academy’s programme of sculpture for the Summer Exhibition in 2009.

The display of Kneale’s sculpture followed other works such as Anthony Caro’s Promenade the Chapman brother’s The Meek Shall Inherit the Earth, but not the Mineral Rights, Anselm Kiefer’s Jericho, Rodin's Gates of Hell and Damien Hirst's Virgin Mother.
