Story Telling: Children's Printing Workshop

Upper Gallery, Cass Sculpture Foundation

Free with general entry

This two-part printing workshop will focus on two artworks from our Story Telling theme.

10:00am - 12:00pm

Learn about Tu Wei-Cheng’s Bu Num Civilisation Wheel, how the sculpture was created using moulds of 21st century objects and then placed into the ground. Use your own items to print patterns that hint at 21st century civilisation, creating your own section of the monumental wheel.

Then select and layer different materials to create your own collograph print inspired by Douglas White’s Icarus Palm sculpture.

Please bring small items you would like to use in your Bu Num Civilisation Wheel print. Please be aware ink may not wash off therefore no precious items should be used.

Suitable for ages 3-10. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Workshop included with general entry however entry tickets must be booked via Eventbrite as spaces are limited.
