CASS Archive

Each year, the curatorial team at CASS invites a selection of carefully researched artists to submit proposals in the form of drawings and maquettes for consideration.

All proposals are stored in the CASS archive, along with other unique objects and materials including original correspondence letters with artists, hand made postcards to Wilfred and Jeannette Cass from Thomas Heatherwick, an embroidered handkerchief from Tracey Emin, and other unique materials.

The onsite archive at CASS is the only sculptural archive in the UK featuring more than 600 objects from more than 300 artists. As such, it is a unique archive documenting the development of contemporary sculpture at CASS over the past three decades.

Viewings must be booked in advance. Archive tours cost £20pp or £10pp for groups of 10.
